Responsible for performing various manufacturing operations, including assembly, packaging, machine adjustments, inspections, housekeeping

Responsibilities

  1. Comply with all Safety program requirements including Personal Protective Equipment.
  2. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency throughout the facility.
  3. Assemble, build, inspect, test, and package product as required.
  4. Read and understand Work Orders to perform tasks as required.
  5. Maintain production and quality records as required.
  6. Perform basic maintenance and adjustment on equipment.
  7. Able to learn to read calipers, tape measures, gauges, and thermometers.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Plans, coordinates, executes, and directs quality control programs designed to ensure the organizations products are consistent with established standards, and a culture of continuous improvement is demonstrated.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and implement a Quality Management System for controlling the consistency products and processes.
  • Utilize Lean, Six-Sigma, and other appropriate advanced tools to implement and maintain effective quality standards, methods, policies and procedures within Quality Management System.
  • Communicate plant quality expectations and monitor performance relative to the objectives in a timely and effective manner.
  • Establish and maintain organizational structure within department by assigning responsibilities; delegating authority, recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Support quality control staff by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees, when necessary, answer grievances, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Manage the identification and continuous improvement programs for scrap, non-conformances, and material review board.
  • Support and monitor deviation processes related to manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Work with customers, design engineers, sales, manufacturing, and purchasing on new products and processes to develop quality and testing plans by coordinating requirements with all relevant parties.
  • Lead, direct, and report on all internal and external plant and product certifications and audits including ISO, IE, and others as requested
  • Prepare management and customer reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintain department requirements including verification of drawings, calibrations, quality results recording and data entry.
  • Manage material quality requirements and coordination of raw material incoming and in process inspections.
  • Assist in reviewing, evaluating and correcting internal and supplier issues with nonconforming material.
  • Serve as the plant’s contact for customer complaints and customer compliance audits. Maintain reporting systems for internal and external complaints.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years’ experience in Quality Management, Engineering Management, Production Management and/or Project Management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Three to Five years supervisory experience required
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015 strongly preferred
  • Lean Certification (Green-Belt or higher) strongly preferred
  • EI qualification experience a plus
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsible for the daily operational and continuous improvement activities related to manufacturing, production planning, shipping/receiving, inventory management, quality control, and EHS by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain a Safety program that actively protects the wellbeing of all employees and complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Establish and maintain programs to ensure a cleanliness and efficiency throughout the facility.
  3. Prepare an annual Operations Budget and plan for accomplishing the company’s objectives in support of the overall company strategy.
  4. Ensure facility and production equipment are clean, reliable, and safe.
  5. Oversee all plant operations to ensure programs are established and maintained to actively identify and eliminate waste that negatively impacts quality, capacity, and cost.
  6. Maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliant processes and documentation where defined.
  7. Define and administrate KPI’s for all direct reports that support plantwide KPIs.
  8. Contribute toward verifying and updating costing standards to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  9. Direct and control all changes to the production planning, layout, and processes to ensure production capabilities meet customer fluctuating demand.
  10. Monitor new manufacturing technologies and recommends acquisition of new machinery and equipment to enhance the production process or to reduce costs.
  11. Continually evaluate current equipment and process capabilities to ensure that it can manufacture products within acceptable quality standards at the lowest cost.
  12. Ensure reporting related to operational performance is consistently and accurately produced and submitted each month in a timely fashion for management.
  13. Monitor departmental budgets throughout the year and resolve or accommodate variances as needed.
  14. Support new product development by ensuring new equipment and processes are appropriately planned and implemented.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain an effective organization through the selection, training, compensation and motivation of all operations personnel.
  2. Provide guidance and direction to all staff for professional development and to insure adherence to all company policies.
  3. Oversee and direct the activities of manufacturing personnel.
  4. Support establishing and executing plantwide management strategies across the organization.
